\n4 East at our North Naples campus is a 45 bed Telemetry Medical Surgical unit that provides care for adult and geriatric patients who are acutely ill or injured and in varying stages of recuperation from diagnostic, therapeutic or surgical interventions and who require cardiac monitoring.\n NCH is an independent, locally governed non-profit delivering premier comprehensive care. Provides direct nursing care to patients, assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities. Participates in shared decision making, unit committee and quality improvement activities. Needs minimal supervision. \n Implements the plan of care interventions and medical plan of care as appropriate. \n Coordinates care delivery. \n Employs patient teaching to promote health and safety. \n Attains knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice. \n Contributes to quality nursing practice and shared decision making (SDM) by supporting council decisions, implementation of decisions and active participation in SDM. \n Collaborate with patient, family, the inter-professional team, and others in the conduct of nursing practice. \n Utilizes appropriate resources to plan and provide nursing services that are safe, effective, and financially responsible. \n Accountable to foster, participate, and be knowledgeable with the shared decision-making model of the NCH Healthcare System. \n Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida. \n All new to practice RN will be placed into the RN Residency Program. \n Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
