LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Laredo, TX (78041) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm (additional hours may be requested as needed)
Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in our patient service center setting. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
