Rehab PTA - Full Time

Role Description The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is a full-time, on-site role based in El Paso, TX. The PTA will implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, supporting patients in pediatric, geriatric, orthopedic, and neuro rehabilitation settings. Daily responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises and activities, monitoring patient progress, documenting treatments, and communicating changes in patient status to supervising therapists. The PTA will help maintain a safe, clean clinic environment, educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, and collaborate with the care team to promote quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to carry out treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist.

Strong Patient Care and Quality Patient Care skills, including empathy, clear communication, and attention to patient safety and comfort.

Experience or interest in Orthopedics and neuro-related conditions, with the ability to assist in targeted therapeutic interventions.

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and current PTA license (or eligibility) in the state of Texas.

Basic proficiency in electronic documentation systems and adherence to clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Prior experience in pediatric, or geriatric rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
