Job Description
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care
SCHEDULE: Night Shift

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current State RN Licensure
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Experience in post heart catheterization preferred
• Experience with post-op vascular surgery patients preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a medical/surgical unit.
• Offer physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support to patients.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes.
• Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff.
• Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge, including discharge planning.
