Quality Inspector
Your Role: The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections of assemblies and machined parts. In this role, you will provide support to the Quality and Engineering teams in investigating corrective actions and uphold the maintenance of inspection records and documentation in accordance with government, customer, and company standards. Perform dimensional inspections on both in-process and finished machined parts and products using measurement techniques and equipment.
Inspect the finished product (painting and powder coat)
Inspect assemblies and sub-assemblies
Use experience with common metrology tools including calipers, and micrometers to measure parts.
CMM programming as needed.
Reports To: Quality Manager
3+ years of CMM operation/programming

5+ years of inspection experience in a precision machining environment

• Previous exposure to operation and programming of CMM equipment
• Smart Scope vision system experience using ZONE3 Metrology Software

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.
