Provides high quality, compassionate and ethical counseling to clients individually to meet treatment goals.

Refer clients to other support services including detoxification, intensive programming, psychiatric services, social services programs, and employment services as needed.

Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with organizational standards and legal requirements.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision sessions.

Assess and manage risk on an ongoing basis and adjust level of care and recommendations as needed.

Knowledge of risk issues and verbal de-escalation abilities, as well as consultation options.
