Shifts: 7PM - 7AM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN with Med Surg specialty to join a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This position focuses on post-surgical patients including orthopedics, general surgery, and neuro populations. With a flexible environment, candidates must be willing to float as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification via AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• Epic experience and completion of at least one travel assignment required
• Willingness to float as needed
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
