Phlebotomist - Lab Phlebotomy

Phlebotomist – Atlanta, GA Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break; Saturdays may be included.

Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.

Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program.

2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications 5 years or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office and provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company.
