RN PACU | North Shore Surgical Center
Responsibilities

Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients in the PACU.

Continuously evaluate patient condition for safety, comfort, and privacy.

Assist physicians with procedures, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as appropriate.

Deliver comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.

Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.

Active RN license in IL.

BLS and ACLS required.

Minimum of 2 years experience in PreOp/PACU, Med/Surg, or Critical Care. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.

Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.

Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Pay
Hourly: Minimum $36.22 - Maximum $54.33.
