Hotel Restaurant and Bar Server

We are looking for a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team! This position plays a big role for creating and providing the best customer experience and satisfaction. Duties include taking food and drink orders, ensuring that tables are served properly and that all payments are collected.

Seeing to the comfort of guests through answering questions, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and make suggestions based on their preferences.

• Take and serve food and drinks orders, up-selling when appropriate.
• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
• Collect used dishes and utensils from tables and return them to the dishwashing area.
• Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
• Adhering to safety and quality regulations.
• Handle guest complaints and solve problem to the degree possible.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of server and customer service experience required, hospitality industry preferred.

Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English in order to communicate with guests and team members.

Ability to work with computers and good knowledge of operating software preferred.
