Contractor - Senior HR Generalist

We are seeking a Senior Employee Services Coordinator to lead and support key personnel functions including onboarding, compliance, payroll support, unemployment claims, and drug‑free workplace initiatives. This role ensures fair and consistent administration of employee policies and procedures while serving as a trusted resource for field and office teams.

Manage onboarding and new hire processes, including E‑Verify and documentation compliance

Assist with payroll reporting (time off requests, leave of absence, terminations)

Support field and division offices and job sites with personnel‑related functions as needed, including but not limited to, proactively supporting hiring and onboarding needs of new and existing job sites, assisting with on‑site onboarding, scheduling drug screenings and background checks.

Monitor and manage drug testing supplies and follow‑up actions

Process unemployment claims and participate in hearings

Support retention, career development, performance management, and recruitment strategies

Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies

College degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 3 years of HR experience required

Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and HR best practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
