In support of our customer, members of the team are responsible for providing full lifecycle support including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training and sustainment for collection and antenna systems.Why Join Us:Your Health, Your Wealth, Your Life Our flexible schedules, competitive pay and comprehensive benefits enable you to live a healthy, fulfilling life at and outside of work.The Work:The Level 5 System Engineer (SE) shall possess the following capabilities:• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288.• Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations. • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas. • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas associated with any of the ISO/IEC 15288 processes.• Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products in each of the ISO/IEC 15288 Project and Technical Process Areas. • Independently analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of project’s technical design.• Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products of either the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.• Assist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue.• Assist in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation.• Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project.• Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.• Lead contractor systems engineering activities for a project to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and technicians.• Independently make decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology for a project.• Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project.Code extrefer#extrefer #OneLMHotJobsBasic Qualifications:Current DoD Top Secret SCI with Polygraph requiredFifteen (15) years of Systems Engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering field or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Or A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering field and thirteen (13) years of Systems Engineering experience.Familiarity with Microsoft suite of applications to include Visio, Excel and Word.• Should have working knowledge of Linux.• Experience performing site surveys and / or planning and executing system installations.• Ability to work as part of a team or lead small team projects.• Able to travel OCONUS, CONUS for up to 3-4 weeks at a time.• Experience troubleshooting networks, hardware and software configurations.• Familiarity with system design and testing.• Familiarity with customer GOTs software capabilities.Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
