Travel ICU RN - Night Shift RN

American Traveler is hiring an ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift travel assignment requiring EPIC experience and OH or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting,
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30),
• 13 or 18 week winter contract options available,
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday,
• Floating required at facility discretion, potentially to main campus, south campus, or north campus locations within 10-15 miles, including to high-risk respiratory/COVID units,
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required (license in hand not required to apply, but must be obtained before contract start),
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required,
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required (firm requirement),
• EPIC charting experience required,
• Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips, including for trachs,
• Must pass an online EKG/tele competency assessment before starting the assignment,
• No history of license disciplinary action accepted,
• Current Nursys report required at submission,

Additional Information

• Travel experience preferred,
• Navy blue scrubs required,
• Maximum RTO of 14 days allowed per contract; must be requested at initial submission and cannot be added after an offer is made,
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted,
• Previous PERM/PRN staff or prior agency travelers not extended due to tenure must wait 6 months before reapplying, subject to facility rehire approval,
• Travelers are not eligible for facility employee incentives
