Anesthesiology, Full Time Anesthesiologist

The Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center is seeking a full time Vascular and Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist to work in the General, Vascular and Transplant (GVT) division, and join the liver transplant anesthesiology team. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology and have significant experience and expertise in the field of liver transplant anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical care to colorectal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, vascular, urology and transplant patients.

Commit to research and resident education.

Contribute to the GVT division’s nationally recognized Enhanced Recovery pathways and clinical research and education.

Work with a liver transplant team of around 10 members, caring for about 200 liver transplant patients per year.

Opportunity to staff the world‑renowned Preoperative and Surgical Screening (PASS) Clinic.
