Our commitment is centered around our core values of Community, Family, Team, and Giving, which guide every decision we make and every relationship we build.Job Summary:The HR & Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the agency's human resources functions, caregiver workforce management, compliance activities, and operational accountability systems. The position also participates in the administrative on-call rotation and may provide emergency client coverage when no other qualified caregiver is available.Responsibilities:Oversee daily HR, administrative, and operational functions to ensure agency objectives and deadlines are met.Supervise and support the caregiver workforce, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and retention.Maintain staffing levels and partner with leadership, HR advisors, and PEO representatives on personnel matters and employee relations.Ensure compliance with licensing, training, documentation, personnel file, and quality assurance requirements.Monitor incidents, complaints, audits, and corrective actions to support regulatory compliance and service excellence.Lead administrative meetings, track operational performance, and address issues requiring escalation.Participate in the on-call rotation and coordinate responses to urgent staffing needs, including providing hands-on client care in emergency situations when necessary.Qualifications:Leadership, supervisory, HR, healthcare, home care, office management, or operations experience.Strong judgment, professionalism, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive personnel matters.Comfortable scheduling, HR, compliance, and business software systems.Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and provide emergency client coverage when needed.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare staffing, or another service-based industry.Prior supervisory, operations management, or workforce management experience.Experience with recruiting, payroll administration, employee relations, compliance, or HR processes.CNA certification, caregiving experience, or willingness to complete applicable training.Schedule & Work Environment:Full-time, primarily in-office positionMonday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PMParticipation in a rotating on-call schedule is requiredOccasional evening, weekend, or holiday availability may be necessaryEmergency hands-on care responsibilities are infrequent and only utilized as a last-resort coverage solutionStarting Annual Salary at $58,000.00 Talem Home Care & Placement Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Compensation: $58,000.00 per yearWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.We support and lead individuals and their families/support system through the complicated health care system, with the ultimate goal of staying independent and healthy at home for as long as possible.
