Line Cook II (Prime Rib) - Bossier City

Our Team Members are the foundation of our success and truly the most valuable part of the Live! brand

Cooks and prepares the food for the Restaurant. Responsible for preparation of all food items and maintaining the temperature of the items.

Responsible for seasoning and garnishing food.

Maintaining inventory and ordering food items on a daily basis.

Monitor and adjust performance to local competition as warranted.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

Ability to use all kitchen equipment and appliances.

Knowledge of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Ability to be creative with cooking and food preparation.

Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Culinary arts courses or the equivalent experience.

Requires a culinary education or a minimum 2 year of experience in a fast paced full service upscale dining restaurant or establishment, or 3-5 years of experience in a fast paced casual full service restaurant or establishment.

Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards.

Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying food product, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to lift, carry, deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.

Ability to work around 500 degree ovens and work within 40 degree walk-in refrigerators.

Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10 hr. shift.
