Full Time Staff Attorney

Now Hiring!!! We are seeking a Staff Attorney to become a part of our team!
- Staff Counsel trial Attorney job duties include defending company-insured clients or the organization itself in civil litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury cases.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents; conduct legal research and handle expert witness retention.
- Develop litigation strategies, conduct settlement negotiations, and report case progress to claims associates and clients.
- Active license to Practice law in the state of Texas
- degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Minimum 2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably insurance defense litigation.
- Strong research and writing skills and excellent work ethic required
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
- Superior awareness of and compliance with all applicable rules of professional conduct
- Substantial experience in civil litigation, preferably insurance defense litigation, including jury trial experience
- Comprehensive legal knowledge which promotes standards of professional practice and strong knowledge of the litigation environment in Texas
