What You’ll Do

Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus, and portion guidelines

Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards

Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies

Support special diets and dietary restrictions as directed

Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep areas

Assist with inventory, storage, labeling, and rotation of food items

Work closely with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service preferred

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices

Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions consistently

Strong time management skills and attention to detail

Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
