Visit and explore our culture on LinkedIn and Instagram.What You'll DoAs a Mechanical Engineer I, you'll apply standard design engineering techniques on small projects or selected segments of larger work, supporting analyses, drawings, coordination, and client communication while developing toward responsible charge under the guidance of senior engineers. Begin assuming responsible charge for portions of project designs under the supervision of the EOR and within your control and expertise. perform engineering studies and analyses using industry software. Coordinate equipment and overall design space requirements with the architect and other disciplines; document decisions and action items. Assist with discipline man?plan work to schedule and report progress, risks, and needed changes to the project manager. Perform studies, load calculations, and equipment selection appropriate to the project design; review work for technical accuracy before QA/QC. Respond to contractor and supplier questions during bid and construction; Conduct site visits to monitor progress and observe installed construction; Maintain detailed records of communications with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members; contribute to lessons learned. Support training and mentoring of designers and EITs; maintain continuous learning on codes, software, and industry trends; Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college with four years' applicable experience in discipline design and analysis Registered Professional Engineer Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies; ability to perform studies, load calculations, and equipment selection.
