Cardboard Sort Associate Seasonal Opportunity This seasonal opportunity through 12/18/2026 is a great way to get your foot in the door at the REI Co-op. You'll gain hands-on experience, get an up-close look at our culture, and have the opportunity to apply for permanent full-time and part-time positions along the way. Make some extra money leading into the holidays and discover why so many people love working here. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM through 12/18/2026. Our team is seeking Cardboard Sort Associates to aid our recycling program in order to help us create better outdoor experiences by ensuring that REI's standards are properly applied and maintained in our Distribution Center. This will be an approximate 3-month assignment with opportunities to apply and advance into full time/part time permanent positions here at the co-op!

Safely handle product, specifically, but not limited to, cardboard being returned from our retail stores, and Distribution Center equipment.

Able to lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 30 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work.

Able to work standing or walking on concrete floors for 10 hour shifts.

Flexible, with the ability to navigate different departments based on the business need.
