PGDX by Labcorp is seeking a Research Associate to join our team in Baltimore, MD!

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift
We are currently seeking an extraordinary, highly motivated individual to join our Research and Development team, with a focus on development and evaluation of emerging technologies for tissue and cell-free DNA liquid biopsy approaches. The successful candidate will assess and optimize laboratory-based diagnostic analyses for research and clinical use following guidelines of regulatory agencies for academic, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical clients.

Perform laboratory based assays for development applications following GDP and PDP
Keep detailed and accurate records of all laboratory work performed
Perform quality control and general maintenance on laboratory equipment
May assist with managing and maintaining consumable and reagent inventory
Support the identification of risks
Support planning and executing development studies
Help establish procedures for maintaining standards and consistency in operations
Help author detailed, accurate, and accessible procedural protocols and records
Promote quality and procedural improvement process
Help keep facility neat, clean, and orderly at all times
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related life science.
~1 or more years of lab experience in industry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
