Job Description The Intermediate Structural Engineer supports the design and execution of the structural designs for industrial projects and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign steel and concrete structures and foundations for industrial systems.Review and provide structural input on mechanical drawings, layouts, and vendor proposals.Prepare calculations, hand and /or CAD sketches, and direct designers in developing project drawings.Review structural shop drawings and provide engineering support during construction.Participate in project meetings and coordinate with internal teams.Travel to project sites as neededLeadership ResponsibilitiesLead portions of projects by developing the designs and coordinating with engineers and 3D designers.lead assigned projects as the Structural Lead Engineer.Responsible for the quality of assigned projects, including adherence to PENTA standards, budgets and schedule.QualificationsBachelor 's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering5 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering (industrial project experience preferred)Professional Engineer (PE) license required or must be actively pursuingGood knowledge of current codes - AISC (Steel), ACI (Concrete), and ASCE 7 Good knowledge of SAP2000, RISA-3D and STAAD.ProWorking knowledge of Revit for BIM coordinationCompany Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance package including Long Term Disability & Basic Life / AD&D coverage.Four weeks after 10 yearsUp to five days for emergency medical leave.
