Full Time Material Handler / Warehouse (Day shift)

Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday, overtime as designated
Ensures inventory control through correct placement of product within warehouse. Ensures safety of people and materials in all locations by following Company guidelines on lifting, stacking, and operation of motorized equipment. Performs all functions in accordance with safety policies and procedures to maintain a quality product during storage and shipment. Responsible for careful loading of product and quality crate building to assist with customer satisfaction.

Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required
Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies
Help ensure co-workers are working safely and following safety requirements
Operate motorized equipment (forklift and multi-directional equipment) safely
Correctly fill orders from inventory
Set-up materials for crate-building
Unload and Load trailers and flatbeds with materials
Provide production with product storage racks
Change batteries and gas tanks on forklifts and report maintenance needs of motorized equipment
Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment
Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for our customers
Assist with training co-workers
Perform other duties directed by supervision or management
18+ years old & High School degree or GED strongly preferred. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required

• Previous manufacturing/distribution/materials/inventory experience of 6+ months required
• Must be able to operate a multi-directional forklift safely & must posses a Company motorized equipment license
• Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times

Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, use varied hand and power tools, drive a motor vehicle and/or light construction equipment, fork trucks, platform lifts etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment or partner lifts
Exposure to variable temperatures as impacted by the weather, chemicals, and rotating shifts
Must have good eye/hand coordination, excellent manual dexterity including a skill to use hand and electrical tools, and an ability to read and comprehend numbers

Mainly a manufacturing facility, where exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, heavy pallets, moderate to loud noise level, and air-borne dust, powders, and fumes. While working, will be required to wear various personal protective equipment (e.g., clothing, gloves, goggles, safety glasses, steel toed shoes, cut resistant aprons, etc.) Site Location: 3010 Ramco St #100 W. The US base pay range for this full-time position is $21.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
