Role Overview
The Systems Engineer I will be part of a global team developing and integrating Drop-on-Demand (DoD) printer systems.
Responsibilities
Translate customer needs into clear system and software requirements, primarily software-related.
Author and maintain functional and requirements specifications, ensuring requirements are well-defined and traceable.
Collaborate with software, firmware, electrical, and mechanical teams during reviews and development.
Define system architecture, interfaces, and behavioral descriptions.
Support verification, validation, and requirements lifecycle management using tools like Jira.
Stay updated on industry trends in embedded systems and printing technology.
Qualifications & Skills
Hands‑on experience with embedded firmware development (C/C , RTOS) and hardware design.
Experience with hardware‑firmware co‑design, PCB debugging, and system specifications.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
Minimum 3–4 years engineering experience, with 1–2 years in systems engineering preferred.
Proficiency in requirements management tools and systems engineering practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate ambiguous inputs into structured requirements.
Knowledge of inkjet/DoD printing technology is highly desirable.
