Civil Engineer (Minimum 4 Years of Experience)
MissionHires is recruiting a Civil Engineer for a reputable engineering firm in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. This role supports municipal, commercial, and industrial projects with a focus on site design, utilities, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control. Ideal for early-career engineers (0-5 years), the position offers a collaborative environment, professional growth, and hands‑on work using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
How You'll Contribute
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare detailed engineering and design documents
Provide CAD support to the design staff as needed
Assist in preparing construction documents for civil projects
Support site layout and site design tasks
Develop utility layouts and designs
Prepare grading and drainage plans
Contribute to stormwater management system design
Create erosion and sediment control plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members on project execution
What Makes You a Great Fit
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
0-5 years of professional civil engineering experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
EIT Certification is a major plus
