Mechanical Or Electrical Engineer
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a self-driven and forward-thinking professional to join our team as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. You will work directly with R&D, manufacturing, and support teams to improve the quality and reliability of products and product assembly.
Plan, design, and implement tests to monitor quality using engineering principles.
Acquire and analyze data using standard quantitative methods to facilitate process analysis and improvements.
Ensure the implementation of effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
Initiate and facilitate cross-functional meetings to address quality issues and brainstorm solutions.
S. degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience
Typically, 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, process improvement, or data analytics
Strong project management and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of quality tools and process improvement techniques (FMEA, Six Sigma, PDCA, Lean Manufacturing (WCM), Control Charts, Histograms, Pareto)
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

Pay Range Data:
We anticipate filling this position as a Quality Engineer: $97,700.00 - $144,400.00 annually. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
