Substitute Custodian Schedules could be one of the following:

A Custodian maintains positive work habits by:

• Adhering to appropriate safety, hygiene, and health standards and maintaining safety of work area.
• Adhering to all school, county and state policies and procedures.
• Performing additional, reasonable job-related responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.

A Custodian performs duties efficiently and productively by:

• Keeping building clean and free of refuse.
• Informing immediate supervisor of problems in need of attention.
• Serving as watchman

* A Custodian maintains or upgrades skills by:

• Reacting favorably to constructive criticism.
• Custodian III - C; Custodian IV - D). All selected applicants are required to take and pass state developed/mandated competency exam for the custodian classification.

Substitutes must be available and willing to accept at least 50% of received calls/assignments.
