Head of Strategy and Analysis

BMO is currently sourcing for a Strategic Sourcing Manager- Expert to support the People & Culture team in driving innovative sourcing strategies at BMO.This is a hybrid contract role in Chicago (3-4 days in office per week).Role Overview:Join a team focused on shaping the future of sourcing at BMO by developing and implementing strategic sourcing solutions that align with enterprise goals and support a purpose-driven culture within the Human Resources category.Key Responsibilities:- Act as a trusted advisor to business partners- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers- Conduct data-driven analysis to inform strategic recommendations- Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processesMust-Have Skills:- 8-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement- Background in banking/financial institutions preferred- Strong knowledge of sourcing/procurement processes and controls- Proficiency in contract negotiation, business analysis, and Excel- Ability to make data-driven decisions and lead sourcing projects independentlyNice to Have Skills:- Post-secondary degree in a related field- Aptitude for influencing offers and working with senior stakeholdersIdeal Candidate:- Assertive with excellent contract knowledge- Experience in a large complex organization and regulatory environment
