Job Description Occupational Therapist, OT (Full-Time)
The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides skilled therapy services to patients in a subacute rehabilitation environment. Treatment Planning : Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and therapeutic goals.
Utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote rehabilitation and recovery, focusing on improving fine motor skills, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
Collaboration : Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Continuing Education : Stay updated on best practices, evidence-based techniques, and advancements in occupational therapy.
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience : Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred.
Full-time position, typically involving direct patient care in a rehabilitation facility.
May require flexibility in scheduling, including weekends or holidays.
