Indmar Marine Engines is looking for a punctual, dependable, quality-focused team player to join our Production Department.
Position Summary: The Production Painter’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the daily painting of engines and components for the Production department and minor assembly of engines.
The full-time position offers a starting rate of $18.00 - 21.00/hour depending upon experience with a consistent daytime schedule. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, paid time off and a retirement savings plan with a company match. Eligible for a $40.00 weekly attendance bonus. Masks proper components for painting.
Primes and paints engines and parts thoroughly using a spray gun.
Responsible for the startup/shut down of the ventilation and painting equipment.
Filters are not to be left in the building.
Minor assembly of engine parts as part of the production process.
Knowledge And Skills Must be able to operate ventilation equipment and painting equipment.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED.
Minimum two (2) years experience painting components in a production environment.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: The following tasks include, but are not limited to the generation, handling, labeling, inspection, and emergency response. Marked with appropriate DOT/GHS hazard indicators and their accumulation start dates, along with ensuring that hazardous waste materials are in their proper packing. Conduct and document hazardous waste container inspections in assigned areas.
