Job Summary:

A Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) Registered Nurse position is available in Santa Rosa, California. The organization requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of employment. This role involves providing specialized inpatient pre/post-procedure nursing care within a hospital setting, utilizing Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Job Details:
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Days shift with 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 1 year of inpatient nursing experience, experience with administering and monitoring Conscious Sedation, working knowledge of Epic EMR system.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a gastroenterology laboratory setting or with GI procedures is advantageous.
Float: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. The refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
Additional Information: Candidates must include RTO (Return to Office) requests at the time of submission. Certified copies, references, and proper documentation are required prior to start. The role involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations, with a daily census and other specific unit procedures to be adhered to.
Submission Requirements: Mandatory submission of a valid California license, copy of certifications, and two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
