Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Nurse – North Dakota Start Date: September 29, 2026
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts with some day shifts, rotating weekends and holidays required. 12-hour shifts in a 19-bed unit.
Highlights:

• Comprehensive women's health experience including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Gynecology, and assisting in Newborn Nursery and NICU
• Care for diverse patient population including high-risk obstetric patients and gynecological surgical postoperative patients
• EPIC charting system for gynecology; OBIX documentation and centralized fetal monitoring for Labor & Delivery
• Manageable nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 for L&D, 1:3 for mom/baby couplets, and combination assignments
• 36-hour comprehensive orientation program for traveling clinicians
• 13-week assignment in an acute care setting with opportunity to work across multiple specialty areas

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Gynecology required
Active RN license eligible for submission
Current certifications: BLS/CPR,

ACLS

, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
STABLE certification preferred but not required
Fetal monitoring expertise and experience with high-risk obstetric patients
Willingness to float to Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed
Must have permanent address greater than 80 miles from facility location
Willingness to work night shifts with occasional day shifts
