The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides critical respiratory care in an acute care environment, including administering treatments, managing ventilators, performing pulmonary diagnostics, and implementing care plans.
Key responsibilities include responding to emergency events, documenting in EMR, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, with potential to serve as Lead RCP.
Qualifications required are a state RCP license, current BCLS, and RRT certification from NBRC. Preferred candidates have 2+ years of experience, ACLS and PALS certifications within 60 days of hire, and an associate or bachelor’s degree.
Skills include strong clinical assessment, equipment management, and team collaboration.
Compensation ranges from $37.00 to $49.80 per hour, with benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and more.
