Production Baker - Full-Time

If you enjoy baking and take pride in producing high-quality products, our Baker position could be a great fit! You'll help with proofing and baking products, preparing items for the next day, stocking and wrapping, assisting customers, and keeping the department clean and organized. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys learning and working in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Nature And Scope: Emphasis in this position is on ensuring consistent product quality and meeting daily production needs. Learning challenge is developing baking proficiency with all products. This position requires ongoing judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, listening skills, math, bakery equipment operation, exposure to heat and standing. Assignments and work direction are provided by the Bakery Manager or person in charge.
Monitor proper baking time and temperature for product

Pull frozen product to be done early next morning

Assist in all other bakery areas
Stock and wrap
Assist customers with questions and requests
Ensure that proper inventory levels exist
Follow all store and department policies and procedures

Equipment operation (scales, knives, oven, bread slicer, labeler, cleaning utensils)
Reading, writing, math
Environmental
Working with hot equipment
