The Manager, Strategic Sourcing is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier relationships. This role involves analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the procurement of goods and services aligns with business objectives. Integrates financial and operating plans with strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results.

Identifying and exploring lucrative sourcing opportunities through industry research and networking

Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers

Assessing, managing, and mitigating risks in procurement processes

Performing cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking for the business

Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques

Identify potential risks in the logistics process and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring continuity and reliability in operation

Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions

Minimum of five years' progressive experience in supply chain, project management and procurement.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems including inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning and analytics preferred

Strong analytical skills with an ability to summarize data to drive decision making.

Demonstrated ability to be organized, flexible and easily adapt in a changing and fast-paced working environment

Advanced ability to make fact-based decisions with a sense of calculated risk-taking

Data-driven, with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems with strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Negotiation Skills Expertise in contract negotiations to secure the best value.

Risk Management Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.

Project Management Overseeing sourcing initiatives from start to finish.

Supplier Relationship Management Building long-term partnerships with vendors.

Ability to travel up to 20%.
