Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Experienced IMCU Nurse!
Job Description:

• SHIFT: 12 Hours (36-hour minimum)
• SCHEDULE: Every other weekend and holiday
• ELIGIBILITY: Previous permanent staff not eligible; local talent preferred
• LOCATION: Local rate applies to those residing less than 50 miles from the facility; local rate $10 less than the posted rate

Requirements:
- Experience:

• Minimum 1 year IMCU experience
• 2+ years recent med-surg and telemetry experience
• Strong neuro care skills, including care for MIs and trachs
• Ability to care for patients with complex medical needs

- Skills:

• Proficient in auto medication dispensing
• Must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Telemetry test on day 1

- Preferred Experience:
- Critical care experience
Unit Highlights:

• Mix of IMCU, neurology, and med-surg patients
• High volume of neuro, medicine, and cardiology patients
• Care for chronic vents, trachs, and high acuity heart failure
• 27 beds with a patient ratio of 1:3 for IMCU and 1:4 or 1:4-5 for Med-Surg

Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
