The Role As a Buyer, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely procurement of materials. Your responsibilities will include:
Establishing and maintaining a vendor base for required materials.
Procuring, tracking, and expediting materials to meet customer expectations.
Participating in supplier audits and vendor assessments.
Promoting competitive bidding to support cost savings.
Working to reduce costs of purchased goods.
Generating reports to monitor purchase orders, safety stock, inventory values, and more.
Maintaining accuracy of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) data.
Interfacing with other departments as needed.
Performing additional tasks as deemed appropriate.
Experience & Skills Associate degree in a technical field or Supply Chain Management, with at least 5 years of purchasing experience or a high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience with an ERP System.
Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Tools.
Strong communication skills with a focus on building positive vendor relationships.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent tasks.

Compensation Package $60,000-70,000
