Registered Nurse (RN)A state-of-the-art, inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to become a part of their dedicated team. This facility focuses on assisting individuals to regain independence after an injury or illness. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care and support during patients' recovery journeys.Position InformationRole: Registered Nurse (RN)Number of Openings: 1Shift: 7 AM – 7:30 PM, 7 PM – 7:30 AMWeekly Guaranteed Hours: 36Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotation (Monday - Friday)Call Requirements: NoneFloat Requirements: None (Candidates will be scheduled on either of the two nursing units)Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 62Patient Ratios: RN/LPN 6-7:1, CNA 10:1Equipment: Cerner, OmnicellElectronic Health Record: Cerner experience requiredPatient Population: Adults and geriatric rehabilitation patientsCore ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.Monitor patient progress and adjust care based on individual needs.Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and care plans.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higherRequired Certifications: RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS)Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required (new graduates not considered)Must Have Skills: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) experiencePreferred Skills: Step Down, Wound Care, Respiratory Treatment, BiPAP, CPAPCommon Diagnosis/Treatment Areas: Neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, cancerPersonality Traits: A team player, adaptable, and flexibleFirst Day InstructionsScrub Color: Navy BlueTime to Report: 6:45 AM or 6:45 PMContact Person: Kelissa Delva, Nurse Manager or Marguerite Rowell, Chief Nursing OfficerParking: Available on the side of the buildingClient Details City South Miami State FL
