Cleaning/ Janitorial Maintenance

*Must Obtain Security Clearance*

Job Summary:

The Custodian performs commercial custodial cleaning of buildings in compliance with corporate, project, and contractual guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned custodial work safely and according to training
• Dry mop, wet mop, and sanitize floors
• Clean baseboards, walls, corners, windows, and doors
• Vacuum carpets
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and locker rooms
• Restock restroom and breakroom supplies
• Empty trash and collect recyclables
• Mix and use cleaning chemicals properly
• Report maintenance and repair needs
• Maintain professional communication and customer service

Safety Requirements:

• Follow GCR Occupational Safety & Health Program
• Wear PPE and follow all safety protocols
• Report injuries, unsafe conditions, and property damage
• Comply with vehicle safety policies and drug-free workplace requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain base access
• Pass drug test and background check
• Valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years of commercial janitorial experience

Preferred:

- Experience working on government contracts
