Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU settings such as SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, or Neuro ICU, with preferred 4-5 years of ICU experience. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work with critically ill patients.
Schedule
This position offers a night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with flexible block scheduling based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care in the ICU setting.
Monitor patient health and converse with patients and families regarding care plans.
Utilize advanced medical equipment including CRRT and Prismaflex.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient treatment plans.
Float as necessary to all units except Behavioral and ER, handling critical care patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with active status in New York and any other state licenses.
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required; 4-5 years preferred.
Current certifications in AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is essential.
