We serve livestock producers, equine owners and animal lovers across North America, providing the guidance, products and service they need to succeed — whether in the market or the show ring.The Warehouse Operator role is responsible for loading sacked feed or products from warehouse storage to customer vehicles/trailers and company trailers as directed. This is a 1st shift role a working schedule of 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. Facility ExpectationFollow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.Ensure product quality expectations are met.Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required.Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule.Work with other Operations colleagues to effectively communicate production issues.Required to work overtime as specified by management.Work DutiesMove bagged feed and other feed products from warehouse storage to customer vehicles/trailers and company trailers as directed. Uses forklift, pallet jack, and dolly for movement of products as necessary.Safely and efficiently operate all necessary equipment at all times (i.e. fork truck, etc.) in a manner so not to harm yourself, your fellow employees, and the equipment.Perform daily inventories accurately and thoroughly. This includes counting activities, recounts, housekeeping, etc.Complete assigned work orders and tasks in a timely mannerPerform other duties as assigned by Plant LeadershipMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalentMust have knowledge of products and codes, warehouse layout, forklift operation, pallet jack, and quality storage and packing proceduresGood customer service must be exhibited at all times.Must be able to lift up to 55 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when requiredAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet working conditionsAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a manufacturing environmentSelf-motivated with a solid work ethicGood attitude and works well in team atmosphereHandles other duties as requiredMaintain excellent attendanceGood interpersonal skills requiredThis is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team that values your expertise and invests in your growth.
