Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Progressive Care Unit is based in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while supervising ancillary nursing personnel. The nurse will participate in patient education, discharge planning, and ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

Location: Rochelle Park, New Jersey

Shift Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

Certifications: BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required prior to first shift; ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required prior to first shift for CIRH only

Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience; minimum one (1) year of ICU experience highly desired

Education & Experience: No specific degree or education credential required beyond certifications; one year of experience in a clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within eight hours of patient admission, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting patient responses and interventions promptly, supporting discharge planning, and participating in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.

Additional duties include maintaining safety standards, delegating tasks appropriately, and supporting cost-effective care delivery.
