Head of Project Management

DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects involving structured cabling, audio/visual systems, and security infrastructure (including access control and surveillance) within the telecom industry. The ideal candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.Manage installation of structured cabling (Cat6, fiber), AV systems (displays, conferencing), and security systems (CCTV, access control).Budget & Cost ControlPrepare and manage project budgets.Provide regular updates and reports on project status.Manage client expectations and resolve issues proactively.Quality Assurance & SafetyConduct site inspections and quality checks.Document and address deficiencies.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate project documentation including drawings, schedules, and close-out packages.Prepare post-project evaluations and lessons learned.Required Qualifications• 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management.• Strong background in Structured Cabling and AV installations.• Proficiency in project tracking, billing, and resource allocation.• Experience with Blue Beam and other project documentation tools.Preferred Qualifications• Familiarity with AIA billing standards.• Experience using SiteOwl for AV project tracking.• Skillsproject managementTop Skills Detailsproject managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsAdditional Skills & QualificationsRequired Qualifications• 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management.• Strong in Structured Cabling and AV installations.• Proficiency in project tracking, billing, and resource allocation.• Experience with Blue Beam and other project documentation tools.Preferred Qualifications• Familiarity with AIA billing standards.• Experience using SiteOwl for AV project tracking.• Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Durham, NC.available for this temporary role may include the following:
