Job Description Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Unit Our organization in Savannah, GA is on the lookout for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical unit. This role involves providing safe, evidence-based care to a varied adult patient demographic dealing with both acute and chronic health issues.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting thorough patient assessments
Developing and implementing individualized care plans
Administering medications and managing wound care
Providing IV therapy as needed
Educating patients and their families about health management
Coordinating discharge planning for patients
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively
Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and infection control
Qualifications and Requirements
Current Registered Nurse license
Experience in a Med-Surg setting is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Commitment to ongoing professional development
