As an MRI Technologist, you will perform routine MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages, health backgrounds and conditions. You will ensure they feel comfortable, safe and properly informed throughout the entire process, helping facilitate a welcoming and supportive experience. A caregiver in this position works day/evening rotation, 6:30am-3:30pm or 10:30am-7:30pm.

Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of having MRI examination.

• Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
• Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.
• Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
• Processes billing via RIS.
• Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.Or must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.N) (ARRT) in good standing or be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways)
• One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalities
