Esthetician - Full Time Position

Position Type: Full Time
Responsibilities Schedule patient appointments for cosmetic services and consultations
Be available for patient consultation at the request of the physician
Perform cosmetic procedures as directed by the physician
Room patients, thoroughly explain treatment, expected results and potential risks, obtain patient signature on appropriate consents
Educate patients about services and skincare products
Assist patients in skincare product selection
Follow up with patients after treatment
Document patient and treatment information
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
Wash and sterilize supplies, instruments and equipment daily
Set up, clean and disinfect aesthetician room daily
Order cosmetic supplies and products through approved vendors
Maintain inventory and ordering of products and samples
Maintain equipment
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education: Board Certified Aesthetician in the State of Texas
Education: Board Certified Aesthetician in the State of Florida
Experience: Experience preferred
Laser Hair Removal Certification
Valid Driver License with acceptable driving history
Performance Requirements Experience with Lasers and IPL machines
Experience with microdermabrasion and chemical peels
Computer literate
Equipment Operated Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment Position is in a well-lighted medical office environment
Physical Requirements Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computers and tablets
Must be able to stoop, bend to handle files and supplies, and mobilize to complete errands or deliveries
Includes handling of sharps and chemicals
Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines
