Part-Time Nanny Needed for Two Sweet Boys | Long-Term Opportunity in Shelby Township.
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and engaging part-time nanny to join our family and care for our two young boys, ages 16 months and 5 1/2 years-old. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who truly enjoys working with children and wants to become an important, trusted part of our family’s routine.
Our ideal nanny is warm, professional, creative, and confident. We are looking for someone who can help provide structure to the day while also bringing positive energy, patience, and initiative.
A big priority for us is finding someone who will actively engage our boys throughout the day through outdoor play, hands-on learning, creative activities, and age-appropriate educational experiences. We are not looking for a rigid classroom environment, but we do want someone who naturally encourages curiosity, movement, exploration, and meaningful interaction rather than passive screen time.
Schedule
Part-time with availability on Monday through Thursday with some evenings and occasional weekend hours as needed. Total hours will generally be around 20–25 hours per week. About the role
You will be caring for two boys, 15m & 6y, so prior experience with both age groups is very important. We are hoping to find someone who can create a fun, safe, nurturing environment with a good daily rhythm and thoughtful routines.
What we’re looking for

• Infant experience is required
• Prior nanny experience is required
• CPR certification is required
• Strong references are required
• Someone who is professional, dependable, and long-term minded
• Someone who enjoys outdoor time, play-based learning, and keeping children actively engaged
• Someone who can create a caring environment with structure, creativity, and warmth
• Educational background or medical experience is preferred, but not required
