Oncology RN Weekend Only Part Time First Shift

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Hematologic Malignancies team! Luke's Cancer Institute (SLCI) is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to cancer patients, offering a spectrum of services from early detection to survivorship support. Within SLCI, the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program is a beacon of comprehensive care and cellular therapy for individuals battling leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic disorders, and other blood cancers. Distinctively, Boise SLCI hosts Idaho's sole BMT and Hematologic Malignancies Program, ensuring patients access to the most cutting-edge therapies in their community.

Part-time (0.6 FTE), day shift

Schedule: 3 days a week x 8-hour shifts

No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays

Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!

BMT Triage RN: responsibilities include phone triage, patient education, care coordination, and opportunity to float to the BMT Infusion Clinic, where stem cell transplant and CAR T patients are evaluated and managed

Promote a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness while integrating technical skills, scientific knowledge, and a caring attitude both in the clinic and through the triage process to aid those living with cancer and their families

Nursing Degree

Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience

Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred: OCN certification, BMTCN certification, and/or Oncology experience
