Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Lewisville, TX, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of PCU experience.
Details

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital
• EMR system: Meditech
• Floating required on an as-needed basis

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience required
Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
Current ACLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU RNs
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
One professional reference required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
Artificial nails, gel, and next-gen nails are not permitted; nails must be clean and natural
Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
Visible piercings other than ears are not permitted, including nose rings and tongue rings
Body art should be covered whenever possible; visible tattoos will be addressed individually
