MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN in the Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre‑Op set in Abilene, Texas.

Qualifications

Active RN license.

Degree from an accredited nursing program.

BLS and ACLS certifications.

At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care PACU setting.

Additional client‑specific requirements will be communicated.

Duties and Responsibilities

Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN responsibilities include:

Providing care to post‑operative patients recovering from anesthesia, for both inpatients and outpatients.

Monitoring patients during the emergence from surgery and until discharge or transfer to the floor.

Conducting vigilant assessment, intervention, and continual reassessment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
